Job Description - MEP Manager

• Check and comment construction drawings prepared by designers and shop drawings prepared by contractors.
• Provide MEP scheduling inputs for master program.
• Review MEP tender documents (drawings, specifications, BOQ) and evaluate bids received from contractors. Support PM for finalizing contracts.
• Supervise contractors work progress on site and monitor adequacy of resources and equipment
• Supervise contractors work quality and compliance with design documents & codes
• Manage interfaces on site between MEP contractors and other trade contractors
• Review & comments MEP contractors bills
• Negotiate change orders with contractors
• Implement strict Quality Control procedures on site
• Report on weekly basis to PM (quality, progress)

Required Skills

• BE (Electrical or Mechanical)
• Very good hands-on knowledge of electrical, HVAC, Firefighting, and plumbing works works
• Minimum 10-20 years experience in the building construction industry in a similar managerial MEP position
• Experience on projects with high standard of finishes
• Good ability to read & review drawings, and communicate with designers
• Knowledge of occupational health & safety regulations in India
• Good command of English and ability to write minutes of meeting
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, and good reporting skills with management
