Role & responsibilities

• Manage power trading operations for group captive projects, including procurement, scheduling, and settlement
• Develop and maintain relationships with industrial and commercial consumers to facilitate group captive agreements
• Ensure compliance with Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission (TNERC) and Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) regulations
• Negotiate and execute Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and Energy Wheeling Agreements (EWAs)
• Monitor energy market trends, regulatory changes, and pricing strategies to optimize trading outcomes
• Handle documentation, approvals, and liaise with DISCOMs, SLDC, and other statutory bodies
• Maintain effective communication with other team members, stakeholders, and external parties involved in power trading operations
• Address consumer queries and manage operational challenges related to power procurement and consumption
• Managing the shareholding pattern of group captive customers based on their energy consumption
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on regulatory developments and market opportunities
• Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with regulatory filings and submissions

Engage with industry forums, conferences, and stakeholders to stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in power trading

Preferred candidate profile

Person with B. Tech/BE & PGD from National Power Training Institute.

Languages :

English, Hindi & Tamil (Preferable)

Computer Skills : MS Office, Excel, Power Point
