Electrical Engineer(Chhatral-Sports Equipment division)

Job Summary:

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing electrical systems in the sports equipment manufacturing facility. The role involves ensuring the smooth operation of electrical equipment, automation systems, and power distribution, while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Electrical System Maintenance:
   
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment and systems, including motors, drives, and panels.
• Perform routine inspections to identify and resolve potential electrical issues.

2. Automation & Control Systems:

• Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, SCADA, and other automation systems used in manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with process engineers to optimize machine performance and production efficiency.

3.Power Distribution:

• Ensure the reliability and safety of power supply systems across the facility.
• Monitor and manage energy consumption to achieve cost efficiency.

4. Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure all electrical installations comply with local regulations and industry standards.
• Develop and implement safety protocols to prevent electrical hazards.

5. Project Support:

• Assist in the design and implementation of new electrical systems for expanding production lines or introducing new equipment.
• Participate in commissioning and testing of electrical equipment.

6.Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain detailed records of electrical activities, maintenance schedules, and incident reports.
• Prepare monthly and annual reports for management on system performance and energy efficiency.

7.Team Coordination:

• Work closely with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians.

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Technical Expertise:
  
• Proficiency in industrial electrical systems, motors, VFDs, and control panels.
• Knowledge of automation systems like PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA.

• Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve electrical issues.

• Understanding of energy-efficient practices and equipment.
• Compliance Knowledge:
  
• Familiarity with electrical safety standards (e.g., IEC, NEC) and government regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably sports equipment or related industries.
• Hands-on experience with electrical maintenance and automation systems.
• Familiarity with CAD software for electrical design is a plus.
