Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Role & responsibilities

Electrical Systems Maintenance :

• Supervising the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including lighting, control panels, and power distribution systems.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations
• Monitor and maintain the integrity of electrical systems to prevent downtime.
• AMC handling activity

Instrumentation Engineering :

• Design, develop, and maintain instrumentation systems that monitor and control production processes (e.g., temperature, pressure, flow, and level).
• Calibrate instruments and control systems to ensure accurate measurements.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation faults and propose corrective actions.

Automation & Control Systems :

• Develop and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems.
• Implement and monitor the automation of production lines and machinery.
• Integrate new control systems with existing plant equipment.

Project Management :

• Support small projects related to the installation or upgrade of electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Safety & Compliance :

• Conduct regular inspections of electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Implement safety protocols for electrical and instrumentation work.

Technical Documentation :

• Prepare and update technical documentation, such as electrical drawings, schematics, and operating manuals.
• Maintain records of calibration, inspections, and repairs for all instruments and control systems.

Continuous Improvement :

• Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency and reduce energy consumption.

Other Requirements:

• Good knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
• Experience with electrical systems design, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in using instrumentation calibration tools and software.

Desired Skills:

• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of industry-specific safety and regulatory standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred candidate profile

The required qualification is a Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (D.EEE)

Prefer candidates from FMCG Industry , having Electrical maintenance experience of shop floor.

This is a shift-based role, and candidates must be willing to work across all three shifts.

Prefer hands on experience of handling Electrical Maintenance activities.
