Job Overview


The Knits Dyeing Supervisor is responsible for managing and supervising the dyeing processes for knitted fabrics, ensuring that the dyed products meet the required quality and specifications. This role requires extensive knowledge of dyeing techniques, machinery, and color matching.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Supervision and Management:
    • Oversee the daily operations of the dyeing department, including scheduling, staffing, and workflow management.
    • Supervise and provide direction to dyeing operators and technicians.
    • Ensure that production targets and deadlines are met.

2. Quality Control:

    • Monitor the dyeing process to ensure that fabric quality and color consistency meet specified standards.
    • Conduct quality checks on dyed fabrics and address any issues or defects.
    • Collaborate with the quality control team to implement and maintain quality assurance protocols.

3. Process Optimization:

    • Analyze dyeing processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
    • Implement process improvements and best practices.
    • Stay updated with the latest dyeing technologies and techniques.

4. Machinery and Equipment Maintenance:

    • Ensure that all dyeing machinery and equipment are properly maintained and operational.

    • Oversee the installation and commissioning of new dyeing machinery.

5. Safety and Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards in the dyeing department.

Qualifications
