Retail Manager - Saree Business (4-6 yrs)

Artifex HR is hiring a Retail Manager for a luxury silk saree brand in Chennai.

The ideal candidate will oversee retail operations, ensure smooth inventory management, drive sales strategies, and enhance customer experience while aligning with the brand's objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Customer Experience:

- Drive sales targets by implementing effective retail strategies.

- Ensure exceptional customer service to build lasting relationships and brand loyalty.

- Monitor and improve store performance metrics through regular evaluations and action plans.

Inventory Management:

- Manage stock levels to avoid out-of-stocks and overstock situations.

- Plan and execute inventory replenishment based on demand trends and seasonal variations.

- Analyze slow-moving or obsolete inventory and develop strategies to optimize turnover.

Team Leadership and Training:

- Lead, motivate, and train store staff to achieve sales goals and deliver an exceptional shopping experience.

- Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages professional growth and accountability.

Assortment Planning and Merchandising:

- Collaborate with merchandising teams to develop and implement assortment plans that align with customer preferences and market trends.

- Ensure the store layout and displays meet brand standards and create an appealing shopping environment.

Promotion and Pricing Strategy:

- Evaluate the effectiveness of promotions and pricing strategies to maximize sales and profitability.

- Provide data-driven recommendations for future promotional activities, including timing and discount levels.

Operations and Compliance:

- Oversee day-to-day store operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of business strategies.

Skills & Qualifications Required:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).

- Proven experience as a Retail Manager, preferably in luxury fashion or beauty.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel or SQL to support retail operations.
