- We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Regional Manager to lead our team in Chennai.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in FMCG operations, retail merchandising, and trade marketing, with a strong focus on team leadership and client management.
- You will be responsible for overseeing all field marketing activities within the Chennai region, ensuring seamless execution, accurate reporting, and strong client relationships.
Responsibilities:
Manpower and Route Management:
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing field team.
- Optimize route planning and execution to maximize coverage and efficiency.
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Activity Management:
- Oversee the timely and effective implementation of all field marketing activities, including retail merchandising, promotions, and events.
- Ensure proper asset implementation and maintenance at retail locations.
- Negotiate with retailers to secure optimal placement and visibility for client products.
- Monitor activity performance against targets and identify areas for improvement.
Market Reporting:
- Ensure timely and accurate market reporting, including sales data, activity reports, and competitive intelligence.
- Analyze market data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Provide regular updates to management on market conditions and team performance.
Client Handling:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Understand client needs and develop customized solutions to meet their objectives.
- Proactively address client concerns and ensure client satisfaction.
- Conduct regular client meetings to review performance and discuss future plans.
Data Accuracy and Analytics:
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reporting and analysis.
- Utilize data analytics to identify trends, measure performance, and make informed decisions.
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies to optimize field marketing activities.
Issue Escalation and Problem Solving:
- Proactively identify and escalate potential issues to internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and implement effective solutions to resolve issues and minimize disruption.
- Provide clear and concise communication to all stakeholders regarding issue resolution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/ master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in FMCG operations, retail merchandising, and trade marketing.
