SAP FS-RI Consultant (4-8 yrs)

Job Purpose :

The primary purpose of this role is to implement, customize, and optimize SAP FS-RI (Financial Services - Reinsurance) solutions to support business processes related to reinsurance calculations, premium estimations, and financial postings. The position involves collaborating with business users to gather and translate requirements into effective technical solutions, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules. Additionally, the role requires providing production support, managing periodic configuration changes, and enhancing system functionalities to improve operational efficiency.

This role is crucial in enabling the organization to maintain accurate and efficient reinsurance accounting and financial reporting while leveraging SAP FS-RI's capabilities for forecasting, estimation, and automated calculations.

Job Description :

- Interacting with the Business Users to gather and understand the requirements.

- Analysing and articulating business requirements from a functional standpoint.

- Translating requirements into effective technical solutions.

- Implementing new functionalities and improving existing functionalities in FS-RI.

- Collaborate with multiple teams including other SAP modules (FI/GL, FS-PQM, FS-CM, FS-CD, FS-ICM, and FS-PM) experts to define and understand the requirements and then explain the system solution.

- Work with multi-functional/technical teams to prioritize the work, get dependencies resolved and undertake system development.

- Learn and gain expertise in other SAP modules

Your key responsibilities :

- Strong knowledge and experience in SAP FS-RI process and customization.

- Master in core FS-RI functionalities configuration and validation such as Set up F&E (Forecast/Prognosis and Estimation) templates and Development Patterns.

- Create TCR (Treaty Calculation Rules) templates for NP treaty Assumed to Ceded transfers.

- EPI (Estimated Premium Income) and Estimations Forecasting and Actual posting for premiums.

- UPR (Un-Earned Premium) calculation using F&E or Global Conditions.

- Reinstatement Premium calculation Signed line adjustments LUD limits adjustments NP Premium adjustments and Retro adjustments.

- Periodic configuration changes handling for Entry Codes LOB and COB.

- Good Programming skills in ABAP, ABAP on HANA ABAP object oriented programming
