SAP FICO Engineer - FS/CD Modules (4-9 yrs)

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities :

- Onshore and Offshore Support : Provide end-to-end support to both onshore and offshore teams for functional issues related to SAP FICO and FS-CD.

- Incident & Change Request Management : Efficiently manage and resolve incidents, perform change request management, and ensure timely handling of all requests.

- SAP S/4HANA Exposure : Strong exposure to SAP S/4HANA implementations with the ability to apply business and technical knowledge for system enhancements and modifications.

- Business Requirement Understanding : Collaborate with business teams to understand and configure requirements, ensuring seamless integration of SAP FICO and FS-CD with other systems.

- Testing & Quality Assurance : Manage unit testing, support integration testing, and ensure the quality of functional specifications.

- SAP Insurance Core Modules : In-depth understanding of SAP Insurance Core Modules, particularly ICM (Insurance Contract Management) and FS-CD (Collections and Disbursements), and how they are linked with SAP FICO.

- Configuration : Handle Master Data and Transaction Data configuration in FS-CD, including RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms).

- SAP Implementation Methodology : Apply knowledge of SAP's implementation methodology to support smooth project deliveries.

- Collaboration & Reporting : Work with cross-functional teams and report progress on incidents, requests, and configurations.

- Utilize tools like HP ALM, JIRA, BMC Remedy, and ServiceNow for effective issue management and tracking.

Key Competencies & Skills Required :

Technical Skills :

- SAP FICO or SAP FS-CD (Functional Expertise)

- RICEFW Objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms)

- Domain Knowledge of SAP in Insurance, especially ICM and FS-CD

- SAP on HANA and SAP R/3 or SAP S/4HANA implementation experience

- Integration Knowledge between FICO and FS-CD

- Experience with HP ALM, JIRA, BMC Remedy, ServiceNow for incident and change management

- Knowledge of Fiori Apps for enhancing user experience

Experience :

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in SAP FICO, with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FS-CD.

- Technical IT background with a focus on SAP financial modules and insurance domain.

- Experience in working within multi-location teams and effectively collaborating across geographies.

Process & Methodology Knowledge :

- Experience in ITIL processes, including Service Request Management, Change and Release Management, and Incident Management.

- Strong understanding of SAP Insurance Functions, including integration of ICM and FS-CD with FICO.

- Hands-on experience in configuration of Master Data and Transaction Data within SAP FS-CD.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Knowledge of Fiori Apps for better user interfaces and improved application accessibility.

- Experience with SAP FICO & FS-CD knowledge specifically in integration and configuration.

Educational Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- SAP Certification in FICO or FS-CD is an added advantage
