Position Title : Verification Engineer

Position Overview :
The Verification Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, functionality, and performance of complex semiconductor designs.
You will be instrumental in developing and executing comprehensive verification strategies for mixed-signal IP, driving technological excellence through meticulous testing and validation processes.
This role is pivotal in maintaining reputation for delivering high-quality, sophisticated engineering solutions.
The ideal candidate will bridge design and validation, transforming conceptual architectures into robust, market-ready technological platforms.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, hardware, and firmware engineers
- Develop and execute comprehensive verification plans for PHY layer mixed-signal IP
- Mixed-signal verification/Analog-Digital Cosim, low-power design verification
- Create detailed test documentation accounting for complex feature interactions
- Design and implement directed and constrained random verification tests
- Perform IP-level verification tasks ensuring design accuracy and functionality
- Conduct gate-level simulations and coverage analysis
- Debug test failures and resolve design defects
- Review and optimise functional and code coverage metrics
- Critical Success Factors
- 95%+ functional coverage across verification test suites
- Zero critical design defects post-verification
- Reduction in verification cycle time through efficient test strategy
- Successful verification of complex mixed-signal IP platforms
Education and Experience Requirements :
- BS or MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering
- 4-8 years of specialised verification engineering experience
- Expertise in semiconductor design verification domains
- Experience in PHY layer and mixed-signal IP verification
- Expertise in low-power and multi-voltage design verification
- Proven track record with analog/digital co-verification environments
- Advanced debugging and test case development skills

- Advanced proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM
- Comprehensive knowledge of mixed-signal IP verification
- Experienced with Linux environments and verification tools
- Strong debugging skills for RTL and firmware code
