Qualifications

Qualification: BE / ME (Mechanical / Automobile)

• Should be Familiar with industry regulations and safety standards such as EuroNCAP, AIS and FMVSS
• Proven expertise in using CAE simulation tools for crash like ANSA, Hypermesh, Pam-Crash/LS-Dyna with a strong understanding of finite element modeling such as contacts, joints etc.
• Good understanding of material behavior under dynamic loading conditions, experience with advanced materials and manufacturing processes impacting crash performance is desirable
• Perform detailed crash analysis to evaluate structural integrity and performance under high-speed impact conditions in various stages of the project, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Should provide counter-measure for the issues identified in simulation/tests.
• Conduct correlation studies between simulation results and physical testing to improve the accuracy of the model
• Prepare and present technical reports and documentation to stakeholders, clearly communicating findings and recommendations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements in simulation workflows.

CAE Crash Model Build - :

Qualification and Responsibilities :

- Minimum of 7 - 15 years of experience in simulation model development for Crash.

- Masters or Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.

- Should be highly skilled in shell and solid modelling of metal and plastic parts.

- Strong understanding of FE modelling methodology of welds, adhesive, bolts etc. for Crash simulation. Understanding of contacts, material definition and control card is highly desirable.

- Plan, estimate and distribute the work to suppliers based on PEP (Product development process). Co-ordinate the meshing and model build activities with the suppliers . Should maintain record of hours spent on meshing and model build activities.

- Develop high accuracy error free simulation models for crash simulations as per  guidelines using industry standard pre-processing software like ANSA, Animator, Hypermesh

- Should know the best practices of data download / storage using Team-center.

- Prepare and present technical reports and documentation to stakeholders, clearly communicating findings and recommendations.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements in model build workflows.
