Sales Manager
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead and mentor a team of sales representatives, driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets.
- The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a proven track record of sales success, strong coaching skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- This role requires a strategic thinker who can develop and implement effective sales strategies, manage sales pipelines, and accurately forecast sales performance.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Management:
- Lead, coach, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives, fostering a high-performance culture.
- This includes setting clear performance expectations, providing regular feedback and coaching, conducting performance reviews, and identifying training and development needs.
Sales Target Achievement:
- Set and manage sales targets for individual team members and the overall team, ensuring consistent achievement of revenue goals.
- Monitor performance against targets and implement corrective actions as needed.
Sales Strategy Development & Execution:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals, including market analysis, competitive analysis, target market identification, and sales channel optimization.
Sales Process Management:
- Implement and enforce sales processes and best practices, ensuring consistent and efficient sales operations.
- Utilize CRM and other sales tools effectively.
Sales Pipeline Management:
- Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate tracking of leads, opportunities, and deal closures.
- Forecast sales performance and identify potential risks and opportunities.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring customer satisfaction1 and maximizing revenue potential.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts.
Business Development:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, and strategic partnerships.
- Explore new sales channels and market segments.
Sales Reporting & Analysis:
- Analyze sales data, provide regular reports on sales performance, key metrics, and market trends to senior management.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven solutions.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate effectively with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment and achieve company objectives.
- Communicate regularly with the sales team and senior management, providing updates on sales performance and market trends.
Budget Management:
- Contribute to the development and management of the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis:
- Conduct regular market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new sales team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/master degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, with experience in a sales management role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading successful sales teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Deep understanding of sales processes and strategies.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of financial metrics.
- Experience in FMCG is a plus
