Associate - General Corporate - M&A/Private Equity/Venture Capital - Law Firm - LLB (1-4 yrs)

A reputed law firm is looking to hire an Associate (1-4 years PQE) for its General Corporate, M&A, and Private Equity/Venture Capital practice in Delhi. The role offers exposure to high value transactions and dynamic client engagements across industries.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting in M&A, private equity, and venture capital transactions, including structuring, negotiations, and execution.

- Conducting due diligence, drafting reports, and identifying key legal risks in corporate transactions.

- Drafting and reviewing transaction documents, such as shareholder agreements, share purchase agreements, investment agreements, and term sheets.

- Advising clients on company law, foreign investment regulations, FEMA, SEBI, and other corporate governance matters.

- Liaising with regulatory authorities and assisting in compliance-related matters.

- Supporting senior associates and partners on deal strategy and transaction execution.

Requirements:

- LL.B. from a reputed law school.

- 1-4 years of post-qualification experience in general corporate law, M&A, and PE/VC transactions.

- Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.

- Familiarity with FEMA, SEBI, Companies Act, and related regulations.

- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
