Knowledge Management Role (7-10 yrs)

My client is a premier full-service law firm in India, known for its expertise across various practice areas. They are committed to delivering high-quality legal solutions and insights to their clients, and they seek a dynamic Knowledge Management (KM) Professional to strengthen their content and thought leadership initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for drafting newsletters and legal updates, assisting partners in authoring articles, and creating compelling content for the firm's website and external publications.

Key Responsibilities:

Content & Thought Leadership:

- Research, draft, and edit high-quality newsletters, legal updates, and client alerts on key legal developments.

- Assist partners and senior lawyers in authoring articles and opinion pieces for legal publications and business media.

- Develop engaging content for the firm's website, including practice area descriptions, case studies, and thought leadership articles.

Knowledge Management & Research:

- Track and summarise significant legal and regulatory updates relevant to the firm's practice areas.

- Collaborate with practice groups to maintain and update internal knowledge resources, precedents, and research materials.

- Ensure content accuracy and compliance with legal and editorial standards.

Marketing & Communications Support:

- Work closely with the business development team to align content strategy with client outreach efforts.

- Assist in preparing submissions for legal directories, rankings, and awards.

- Support the firm's social media and digital marketing efforts by providing well-researched content.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong legal research, writing, and editing skills.

- Excellent command of English with the ability to write clear, concise, and engaging content.

- Understanding of the Indian legal landscape and regulatory framework.

- Ability to work collaboratively with lawyers, marketing teams, and external stakeholders.

- Experience with legal newsletters, publications, or law firm content management.

- Familiarity with digital content strategies, SEO, and legal PR is a plus.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's/master's degree in law, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.

- 7+ years of experience in legal content writing, knowledge management, or legal journalism.

- Prior experience in a law firm or legal publishing environment preferred.
