We are seeking a driven and experienced Area Manager - Operations to oversee the operational performance of multiple dark stores and kitchens within a designated territory.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence across locations, with a strong focus on delivery performance, inventory management, and supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- KPI Ownership: Take ownership of key performance indicators (KPIs), including On-Time Delivery (OTD) rates, inventory turnover, and overall operational efficiency for the assigned territory.
- On-Time Delivery Management: Ensure all dark stores and kitchens within the area meet or exceed OTD targets by streamlining delivery processes and addressing any bottlenecks or delays.
- Inventory Management & Forecasting: Oversee inventory levels at all locations in the territory, ensuring accuracy and timely replenishment.
- Use forecasting models to predict demand and optimize stock levels.
- Supply Chain Planning: Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure efficient planning, product replenishment, and logistics coordination for each store and kitchen in the area.
- Territory Coordination: Act as the key liaison between the corporate office, logistics, and store/kitchen managers within the assigned territory.
- Ensure smooth communication and execution of operations.
- Dark Store/Kitchen Management: Supervise and support dark stores and kitchen managers, ensuring they follow best practices in order management, inventory control, and customer service excellence.
- Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in the supply chain, delivery operations, or store processes, and implement solutions to improve overall performance in the area.
- Reporting & Analytics: Generate and analyze performance reports related to delivery times, inventory levels, and supply chain health.
- Present findings and recommendations to the senior operations team for strategic improvements.
- Team Leadership & Development: Provide guidance and leadership to store and kitchen managers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and high performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing operations across multiple locations, with a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in KPI ownership and performance management.
- Proficiency in supply chain, inventory, and logistics management tools and software.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and team management skills, with a focus on achieving operational targets.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make data-driven decisions.
- This role is essential in ensuring operational excellence across multiple locations, driving the success of our delivery operations, and maintaining efficient supply chain management.
