Quality Supervisor

Job Purpose:

Performs incoming material audits, line inspections and finished product inspections to assure all products and materials meet or exceed internal and external customer specifications.

Role & responsibilities

1.Take a thorough look at the plans, specifications, and blueprints to understand the product
requirements
2. Reject all the incoming raw materials that fail to meet quality expectations and report the
issue to the concerned department at the earliest
3. Prepare documentation of the inspection process, which includes detailed reports and
performance records.
4. Monitor the production phase at various levels
5. Use automated systems to perform complex testing procedures
6.Maintain records of testing, information and various metrics such as number of defective
products per day etc
7. Prepare and submit reports to the quality manager
8. Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, and
complying with legal regulations
9. Inspects in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and
measurement tests, communicating required adjustments to production supervisor
