Job Description


We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Management Specialist to support the development, management, and optimization of high-quality data assets for our sales and business growth initiatives. This role is critical in ensuring our sales teams have access to accurate, reliable, and actionable data, while also overseeing vendor relationships, tool management, and data compliance. Experience in building and managing data for international markets is highly desirable.


Key Responsibilities


1. Database Development & Data Quality:

  • Build and maintain comprehensive contact databases for sales teams, ensuring data relevance, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Evaluate, verify, and manage purchased data lists to ensure alignment with target market criteria and data quality standards.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve data issues such as duplicates, inaccuracies, and outdated information.
  • Enrich existing datasets by integrating additional information from trusted sources to improve segmentation and targeting across multiple geographies.

2. Vendor & Tool Management:

  • Manage relationships with data vendors, including negotiating contracts, evaluating performance, and ensuring data quality from external sources.
  • Assess and recommend data tools and technologies to improve efficiency, data accuracy, and overall sales enablement.
  • Oversee the implementation and optimization of data management tools and platforms, ensuring seamless integration with CRM systems.

3. Sales Support & Enablement:

  • Provide data-driven insights and reports to support sales strategies, lead generation, and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate closely with sales teams to understand their regional and international data requirements and ensure the availability of actionable information.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards that visualize key data metrics to enable informed decision-making across sales teams.

4. Risk Management:

  • Identify and mitigate risks related to data accuracy, security, and compliance.
  • Establish protocols to prevent data breaches, data loss, or unauthorized access to sensitive information.
  • Implement controls to ensure data integrity during acquisition, migration, and processing activities.

5. Compliance & Governance:

  • Ensure all data management practices comply with relevant privacy laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, and other international data regulations).
  • Maintain data governance policies to uphold data quality, security, and ethical usage standards.
  • Regularly review and update data management processes to align with regulatory changes and internal audit requirements.

6. Process Improvement:

  • Continuously evaluate data management workflows to identify inefficiencies and implement process enhancements.
  • Recommend and implement automation tools to streamline data processing, cleansing, and reporting tasks.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Information Management, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in data management, data analysis, or CRM database administration, preferably supporting sales or marketing teams.
  • Experience working with international market data and managing multi-region datasets.
  • Proven experience in vendor management and evaluating data tools and technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and data accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Excel, data analytics tools, and CRM platforms.
  • Familiarity with data cleansing, enrichment, and validation techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on data-related projects.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with B2B sales data or lead generation databases across multiple international markets.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and best practices Experience working with international market data and managing multi-region datasets. in data governance.
  • Strong project management skills, especially for data-related initiatives.
