Job Description
A Product Manager is responsible for the business management of a product and its commercial success.
Key responsibilities are to:
- Develop and execute the product strategy in alignment with business objectives, reflecting market needs and company goals.
- Write high-level product requirements to guide development efforts.
- Continuously improve customer experiences through product enhancements and innovations.
- Plan and execute product launches, coordinating cross-functional teams for successful outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure alignment.
- Translate business strategy into actionable product strategies, driving product success.
- Provide stakeholders with insights on the product and market landscape to inform decision-making.
- Identify and manage new and existing product partnerships to enhance offerings.
- Drive action throughout the organization to bring products to market efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with product marketing to provide insights on key differentiators and messaging.
- Manage product profitability and commercial success, owning the business case.
- Support the Product Owner and Product Marketer with their inquiries and needs.
- Work closely with marketing and sales departments to ensure product success and market growth.
- Assess market competition by comparing the companys products to competitors offerings.
- Manage all aspects of in-life products, including customer feedback, requirements, and issue resolution.
- Introduce and market new products by developing integrated plans with sales and advertising.
- Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations.
- Lead product development, strategy, and redesign efforts from concept through launch.
- Provide management with product sales forecasts, special reports, and analyses.
- Identify potential products through market research and develop comprehensive product plans
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; B.tech preferred.
- Proven experience in product management or related roles.
- Strong understanding of product development processes and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mind-set with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Proven track record of driving product success and profitability.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
