Job Title: Zonal Manager
Reporting To: Sales Head
Job Summary:
- The Zonal Manager will lead and manage the sales team within the assigned zone (West Region) to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth across various product lines, including Insurance, Wealth Management, Financial Inclusion, and E-governance.
- This role requires a dynamic and results-oriented leader with a proven track record in sales management, team leadership, and business development within the financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor a large sales team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching and training, and identify development opportunities for team members.
- Motivate and inspire the sales force to achieve and exceed targets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, rules, and regulations within the team.
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned zone.
- Manage joint calls with the sales team to generate business and close deals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and franchisees to expand the distribution network and increase sales.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region.
- Manage a healthy sales pipeline and ensure consistent achievement of set targets.
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor product off-take, competitor activity, and identify emerging market trends.
- Analyze sales figures regularly to track progress against targets, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with the Sales Head to prepare the annual budget and business plan for the zone.
- Assist in the development of the annual sales plan, including realistic forecasts for each product and territory, cost estimations, and sales promotion plans.
