Software Development Engineer Test - II

Purpose of the Job

The purpose of the job is to automate the testing process, this helps to test all parts of the system with least effort and time, hence help in achieve the goal of being frugal for the bank. This job will have out-sourced teams reporting into him/her.

Key Deliverables:

• Understand the solution requirements from solutioning and development teams, should be hands on writing Automation scripts and development/maintenance of Automation framework, unblock other team members on scripting/Coding part.
• Required to test to cover functional, security and performance requirements for a new development.
• Having strong experience in development of stubs and drivers for various systems and sub-systems. Work with developers in designing a test strategy to integrate certain components of the application in the absence of a fully integrated flow
• Excellent experience in API, backend and DB testing. Should have excellent debugging skills.
• Should have ability to understand complex integrated system architecture and able to test it.
• Should able to Analyze complex Business & system Requirements and identify potential gaps.

Skills Required:

• 3+ years of experience of Cucumber framework, Rest Assured, API Testing, Database Testing
• Sound knowledge and understanding of Java concepts.
• Should able to Analyze complex Business & system Requirements and identify potential gaps.
• Should have ability to understand complex integrated system architecture and able to test it.
• Able to prepare test cases for Function Test, System Test, Regression test and integration testing.
• Good Communication skills : Can Participate in demo to product/Business owner.
• Additional Skills : Jenkins CI/CD Integration, Database Knowledge (SQL, ORACLE etc.), Github etc
