Product Compliance Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented professional with a unique blend of product understanding and regulatory expertise to serve as our Product Compliance and Audit Specialist (KYC). This role is critical in bridging the gap between product development and regulatory compliance, ensuring our banking products meet the highest standards of regulatory adherence while proactively addressing compliance risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive product audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
• Monitor and implement daily regulatory compliance requirements.
• Develop and maintain robust internal control frameworks for banking products.
• Implement and track regulatory circulars, with a specific focus on KYC-related guidelines.
• Act as the primary interface during internal and regulatory audits, confidently representing the product team.
• Proactively identify potential compliance gaps and alert the organization to mitigate regulatory risks.
• Collaborate closely with the product team to incorporate compliance considerations into product design.
• Conduct periodic reviews to ensure customer onboarding and lifecycle management processes align with regulatory standards.
• Prepare detailed and precise audit reports, compliance documentation, and regulatory submissions.
• Represent the organization during regulatory interactions, offering expert insights with confidence and clarity.
• Support in data submissions to compliance, internal audit teams, and regulators.
• Leverage data analytics for insights, ensuring proficiency in data extraction, manipulation, and reporting.

Expertise:

• In-depth knowledge of KYC regulations and related circulars.
• Strong understanding of banking product lifecycles and customer onboarding processes.
• Comprehensive experience with audit and compliance frameworks.

Skills:

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear articulation of complex regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in identifying gaps and translating regulations into actionable insights.

Technical Knowledge:

• Extensive knowledge of RBI, UIDAI, PMLA, and CERSAI guidelines.
• Proficiency in compliance tracking and documentation tools.
• Understanding of risk management frameworks and regulatory reporting.
• Strong hands-on experience with Excel, SQL, and analytical tools for data extraction and insights.
