Automation Test Engineer

Location: Gurgaon (Work from office), Immediate joiners preferred

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Maintaining the overall quality and integrity of the application.
• Timely delivery of the application/feature/module with good quality.
• Analysis of the new requirements followed by developing Test Plans and Test Cases.
• Find, document, regress and track bugs through to a resolution.
• Writing Automation test scripts with the aim to carry out automated regression tests after every update and release of the new version to maximize test coverage
• Have the opportunity to propose improvement in the existing processes and automated tools in order to improve the overall team's speed, quality and efficiency.
• Lead the Design, implementation and delivery of test solutions using new or existing technologies.
• Ensuring frequent code review/Test case reviews are done for the changes submitted by the other team members.
• Actively participating in the mentoring process of other team members - improving their skills, their product knowledge and ability to get things done
• Collaborate with the development team to assess or diagnose problems and suggest possible solutions

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Experience of both Manual as well as Automation testing.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes with End to End Understanding of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) Models - AGILE, Sprint etc.
• Expertise in at least any one Software programming language - preferably Java/Python
• Experience in writing test automation scripts and good understanding of standard automation frameworks, REST ASSURED is a must!
• Knowledge of CI tools like Maven, Jenkins, Github and related build deployment processes
• Hands-on experience in API Testing (HTTP and RESTful web services) using JMeter/postman etc.
• Working experience on testing applications with databases such as (SQL/MongoDb)
