Job Title - Lead Engineer/ DM-Tool crib

Responsibilities
Manpower management & shift scheduling of tool crib operators.
Tool cost saving through new tool trials & supplier change.
Issue tools to the production team members as per production loading plan.
Monthly tool procurement as per production schedule given by PPC.
Maintain inventory of issued material, returned material, and monitor the
inventory.
Inspect and measure tools and tool crib equipment for defects and wear and
reports damage or wear to Production Head.
On job training to new tool crib operators.
Maintaining tool cost as per target.
Coordination with SCM continuously regarding new tool procurement for
production.
Reduction in down time related to tool waiting.
New tool development based on part requirement/tool geometry change in
coordination with production lead engineers.
Maintain good housekeeping practices

Indicative Years of Experience -6-10 Years

Educational Background -BE (Mechanical) / DME (Mechanical)

Job Location -Hubli

Experience in operating of tool pre-setter.
Knowledge of cutting tools.
Maintenance of boring bars & tool holders.
Knowledge of advance manufacturing techniques like 5S, TPM & quality tools
etc.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products - Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
