CNC CAM Programmer

Role & responsibilities

• Capable reading and interpretation of drawings and technical specifications
• Work with CNC controls and cutting tools
• Select, align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines
• Create CAM programming and prove out part on machine and establish cycle times
• Turning & Drilling-Milling Programming using Edge CAM for CNC Lathe, HMC, VTL and VMC
  machines
• Provide operations support for CNC setup, machining processes & tool selection
• Validate and maintain CNC programs and setup sheets for all machines
• Workout standard hours and share with Product engineering.
• Tool path generation using Edgecam
• Adhering quality management system and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge about Lean management, Cycle time reduction, TPM, KAIZEN, 7QC tools & 5S standards
