General Manager- HR

Job Description:

• Review, develop and implement relevant systems, policies and processes pertaining to Human Resources.
• Manage HR Operations including but not limited to Leave & Attendance, Support for Payroll, Confirmation Process, Performance Improvement Plans (PIP) etc. at MPower.
• Oversee, manage and facilitate a performance management system that drives high performance.
• Develop Learning & development guidelines, plan and execute learning calendar, assess training needs and monitor training programs.
• Drive initiatives to build employer brands by engaging on social media platforms, research and try to present Mpower on relevant platforms driven by other social enterprises.
• Develop, implement and manage internship & volunteering programs.
• Prepare an operationally viable HR budget for management approval.
• Plan and execute employee engagement interventions, recognition schemes to increase team unity, teamwork and further improve employee commitment and motivation. 
• Manage and ensure that employee exit, resignation processes are smooth.
• Record maintenance of employee records, files.
• Lead HR Analytics in hiring, attrition, performance management, attendance/ leave etc. to drive decisions of Senior Management pertaining to Mpowers operations or HR processes
• Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
• Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
