Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and execution of new plant setups, ensuring alignment with industrial engineering principles and production requirements.
- Oversee the installation of industrial mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring seamless integration and operational efficiency.
- Navigate and manage all statutory requirements related to real estate and industrial operations, including permits, licenses, and environmental regulations.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with local government authorities, ensuring smooth approvals and compliance.
- Manage the upkeep of all equipment and supplies, ensuring adherence to the company's Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of infrastructure and machinery structures to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Implement strategies to minimize utilities costs while maintaining operational effectiveness.
- Supervise and manage all required staff, external contractors, architects, landlords, consultants, and agencies involved in complex real estate projects.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Coordinate service contracts.
- Establish, maintain, and update real estate standards and protocols, ensuring consistency and best practices across all facilities.
- Develop and implement space allocation strategies based on operational needs.
- Maintain accurate financial and non-financial records related to real estate assets and projects.
- Perform financial analysis and forecasting to support real estate decision-making.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Extensive Experience:
- Significant experience in real estate management within an industrial setting, preferably in manufacturing or heavy industry.
- Proven track record of successfully setting up and managing industrial plants.
- Strong proficiency in civil engineering principles and practices.
- Knowledge of industrial engineering concepts and their application in plant layout and operations.
- Understanding of industrial mechanical and electrical systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of statutory requirements related to real estate and industrial operations.
- Experience in liaising with local government authorities and obtaining necessary permits and approvals.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in managing budgets, schedules, and resources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams and manage external contractors.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze financial and operational data to support decision-making.
- Strong commitment to quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in any related field
