Head - Design - Real Estate (15-18 yrs)

The Design Manager is responsible for overseeing the design phase of construction projects, ensuring that all designs meet client specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. This role involves collaborating with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders to deliver innovative and functional design solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the design process from concept to completion.

- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design integrity.

- Review and approve design proposals, drawings, and specifications.

- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

- Manage project budgets and timelines related to design work.

- Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in construction design.

- Facilitate communication between clients and design teams to ensure alignment on project goals.

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Architecture with commercial/ office space development or a similar role.

- A minimum of 15 years of experience in a leading architectural firm or with a leading Real Estate group

- International experience is highly recommended.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and design principles.

- Excellent project management and organizational skills.

- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).

- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
