Product Manager

Preferred candidate profile

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager with 7-8 years of experience in the waterproofing industry or closely related fields. This role will be responsible for the strategic development, market positioning, and lifecycle management of waterproofing products. The Product Manager will play a key role in driving product growth, leading conversation amongst cross-functional teams, and aligning product strategies with market needs and company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Strategy and Roadmap Development:

• Develop and execute product roadmaps based on market research, customer insights, and industry trends.
• Define and prioritize product features, enhancements, and new product development to meet market demands.
• Work closely with R&D teams to ensure product specifications align with market requirements.

2. Market Analysis and Customer Insights:

• Conduct in-depth market analysis to understand competitive landscape, industry standards, and potential market segments.
• Engage with key customers, contractors, and industry stakeholders to gather insights and validate product concepts.
• Identify customer pain points and translate them into actionable product features and value propositions.

3. Product Lifecycle Management:

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of waterproofing products from ideation through to commercialization.
• Define pricing, positioning, and distribution strategies to maximize product profitability.
• Monitor product performance and implement improvements as necessary.

4. Cross-functional Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with marketing, sales, engineering, and operations teams to ensure alignment on product goals and execution plans.
• Develop clear, concise product requirements and specifications that guide the engineering and production teams.
• Act as a primary point of contact for cross-functional teams to support product launches and sales initiatives.

5. Product Launch and Go-to-Market (GTM) Execution:

• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches, including pricing, positioning, and promotion.
• Partner with marketing and sales teams to create effective sales tools, product collateral, and training materials.
• Monitor the effectiveness of product launches and adjust strategies as necessary.

6. Performance Metrics and Reporting:

• Track and analyze key product performance metrics, including market share, sales growth, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
• Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on product performance, risks, and opportunities.

7. Compliance and Quality Assurance:

• Ensure products comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance and regulatory teams to address product quality issues and customer complaints.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
• 7-8 years of product management experience, ideally within the waterproofing or construction materials industry.
