Job Objective:
Lead procurement and sourcing strategies for assigned categories, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and budget compliance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Strategy, Planning, SOP and Guidelines:
   
• Understand and implement Techno-Commercial strategies.
• Contribute to organizational structure design and strategic initiatives.
2. Core Procurement:
   
• Review and validate Purchase Requisitions (PR).
• Develop long-term demand projections and procurement plans.
• Manage strategic sourcing, vendor selection, and contract preparation.
3. Associated Procurement Activities:
   
• Oversee post-order management and contract amendments.
• Manage inbound logistics and contingency planning.
4. Supplier Management:
   
• Identify and onboard suppliers.
• Evaluate and manage supplier performance.
• Establish strategic partnerships with suppliers.
5. Data Management and Analytics:
   
• Analyze procurement data to improve efficiency and value.
• Implement data-driven interventions.
6. Governance and Risk Management:
   
• Ensure adherence to governance protocols and audit management.
• Identify and mitigate procurement risks.
7. People Management:
   
• Set goals, review performance, and develop team members.
• Foster a culture of learning and innovation.

Key Interactions:

• Internal: CPO/ BU TC Head, Category Buyers, Head Projects, Site HODs, Engineering, PMCG, MAAS, Finance & Accounts.
• External: Suppliers, vendors, partners, and external agencies.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, economics, finance, operations, engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• 5-10 years in category management and strategic sourcing.
• Experience with eProcurement systems and tools.
• Knowledge of purchasing processes and supplier relationship management.
• Experience in commercial transactions for large projects.
