Job Description

Position: AGM/Senior Manager - Advocacy and Policy Advisory (Compressed Biogas)

Location: Ahmedabad (HO)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Policy Development: Formulate and advocate for policies that support the growth and adoption of compressed biogas technologies and projects.

2. Regulatory Analysis: Monitor and assess relevant legislative and regulatory changes impacting the compressed biogas sector. Provide strategic advice on compliance and risk management.

3. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strategic relationships with government agencies, regulatory bodies, industry groups, and other stakeholders.

4. Representation: Act as the companys representative in policy discussions, industry forums, and public consultations.

5. Advocacy Campaigns: Design and execute advocacy campaigns to promote the company’s interests and advance the sector’s agenda.

6. Internal Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that advocacy efforts align with the company's strategic objectives.

7. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports and policy briefs for senior management. Track and report on advocacy activities and their outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience:

Postgraduate degree in Public Policy, Environmental Science, Law, Business Administration, or a related field with 15–20-year proven experience in a senior role, demonstrating a successful track record in policy advocacy or regulatory affairs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Feedstock Management: Oversee the procurement, quality control, and logistics of feedstock materials for compressed biogas production. Ensure the availability and sustainability of feedstock sources.

2. Supply Chain Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to optimize the entire supply chain, from feedstock acquisition to biogas production and distribution.

3. Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers and service providers. Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with quality and performance standards.

4. Logistics Coordination: Manage transportation, storage, and handling of feedstock materials to ensure efficient operations and minimal disruption.

5. Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics. Use data to identify trends, forecast needs, and implement improvements.
