General Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven General Manager (GM) with expertise in project management to lead operations at Sun360. The GM will oversee cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth execution of projects, efficient resource management, and alignment with company goals. This role demands strategic leadership to optimize performance across operations, procurement, warehouse management, service delivery, and project execution.

Responsibilities:

1. Operations & Project Management:

Oversee daily operations across departments, driving process efficiency and cost control.

Manage 20-30 solar EPC projects with the project managers ensuring the projects are executed on schedule.

Collaborate with teams to address risks, ensure compliance, and meet regulatory standards.

2. Leadership & Team Management:

Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and productivity.

Set clear roles and KPIs while providing training to align with company objectives.

3. Procurement & Resource Management:

Supervise procurement and warehouse operations to ensure timely and quality material availability.

Align procurement schedules with project timelines for seamless execution.

4. Financial Oversight:

Manage budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-control measures.

Collaborate with finance to ensure financial efficiency across projects and operations.

5. Strategic Planning & Stakeholder Engagement:

Develop strategies to streamline operations, optimize resources, and improve performance.

Act as the key liaison with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.

Requirements
Bachelor degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (Master preferred).

7-10 years of experience in operations and project management (renewable energy preferred).

Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and driving operational excellence.

Expertise in procurement, logistics, and budget management for large-scale projects.

Knowledge of solar systems, installation practices, and regulations. PMP certification is a plus.

Proficiency in project management tools, MS Office, and ERP systems.

Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic thinking.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for stakeholder management.
