Job Description

The overall aim of this role is to carry out the following:

1. Use custom software tools (SolarLabs, AutoCAD, etc) to design solar PV systems.

2. Perform accurate system sizing calculations.

3. Create electrical single-line diagrams, panel layouts, and connection diagrams using computer-aided design software.

4. Develop optimal designs with SLD, conduit and wire scheduling, routing, and equipment layout plans, and conceptual 3-D renderings.

5. Execute designs that adhere to grid compliance and permitting requirements.

6. Building detailed bills of materials and balance of system components based on system specifications.

7. Coordinate with Sales to develop complete proposal packages.

8. Cross-functional interaction with Procurement and Execution for technical clearances and approvals on time.

9. Cater to end-to-end electrical switch-gear requirements as per specific project requirements while adhering to committed project timelines. This includes (but is not limited to):

a. Preparing RFQs.

b. Floating out requirements to various vendors.

c. Shortlisting vendor list after analyzing technical specifications received from various vendors.

d. Getting approvals from Operations, consultant, and end customer.

e. Cost optimization .

f. PO approval & submission to Purchase for commercial negotiation.

g. Providing approval to GA drawings and SLDs before the start of production .

h. Material inspection after receipt of goods .

i. Coordination with vendor if the material is not found in alignment with the final technical specifications mutually agreed upon, before PO closure.

j. Receive test certificates, and warranty statements before the final payment tranche is processed.

k. Technical support during execution.

10. Conducting remote monitoring of installed plants and ascertaining deviations if any to the designed performance levels and Establishing feedback loops based on actual system performance to improvise design parameters.

11 . Assisting operation and maintenance teams to analyze plant performance, identify resolution steps and maintain a troubleshooting repository.

12. Assist in documenting and developing industry best practices, standards, and guidelines.

13. Understanding the technical specifications and features of the products. Keeping abreast with the latest developments in the field by attending conferences, exhibitions, online research and reading research publications.

Requirements

-Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Mechanical or Renewable Energy

-Experience: 1- 2 Years Experience In The Same Field
