Lead Safety System

Purpose/Objective

The Manager/Senior Manager, Safety will play a critical role in ensuring the safety compliance for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The ideal candidate will have 10-12 years of experience in the BESS industry and will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing safety protocols and procedures. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to Adani's commitment to sustainability and innovation while fostering a culture of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols for Battery Energy Storage Systems in compliance with regulatory standards - Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety considerations are integrated into design, construction, and operation of BESS - Provide technical guidance and support to ensure the safe operation and maintenance of BESS - Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence - Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies and evolving regulatory standards to continuously improve safety standards - Prepare and maintain documentation related to safety procedures and risk assessments - Participate in inspections and compliance audits

Technical Competencies

understanding of safety regulations and standards ,Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies ,Proficiency in safety management systems,Knowledge of incident investigation techniques and root cause analysis

Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree is preferred
