Lead - Quality

Purpose/Objective

The Assistant Manager- Quality Assurance will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards for utility scale Battery energy storage systems. This role will be responsible for overseeing quality control processes, developing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Perform problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement - Design and implement methods for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection - Develop, execute, and analyze quality reporting measures - Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures for battery energy storage systems - Oversee the quality control processes to ensure adherence to industry standards and specifications. - Address and resolve client concerns related to quality. - Oversee testing and validation processes for BESS systems and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues. - Create and maintain quality documentation, including manuals, procedures, and checklists for all implemented projects. - Conduct regular quality audits (Internal and external) and inspections to identify areas for improvement - Responsible for In-house lab management and Calibration Activities - Provide technical expertise and guidance on quality assurance best practices - Ensure all projects comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. - Prepare comprehensive reports on quality performance and improvement initiatives

Technical Competencies

Experience working with Lithium-Ion Battery technology in QA,knowledge of IQC, OQC, SQC (Quality related) reports,knowledge of quality processes and tools such as APQP, FMEA, SPC, Control Plan,Knowledge of key electronics parts

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering
