BMS/EMS-Application Software

Purpose/Objective

The Manager/Senior Manager, BMS Application will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of Battery Management Systems (BMS) Application within the Technology, Design and R&D team of BESS. The role requires 10-12 years of work experience with 5-6 years work experience in the battery energy storage systems industry, with a focus on driving innovation and optimizing BESS performance.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Oversee the design and testing of BMS algorithms for state and power estimation, control strategies for thermal systems, and energy strategies to ensure optimal performance and safety - Lead the development and implementation of Battery Management Systems (BMS) for battery energy storage applications - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define BMS requirements, architecture, and specifications - Manage the execution of BMS R&D projects, including resource allocation, budgeting, and timeline adherence - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance BMS reliability, efficiency, and functionality - Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory standards related to BMS - Collaborate with external partners and vendors to evaluate and integrate cutting-edge BMS components and solutions - Contribute to the strategic roadmap for BMS technology evolution and product roadmap alignment - Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards in all BMS development activities

Technical Competencies

Expertise in Battery Management Systems (BMS) development and optimization,Proficiency in battery technology, energy storage systems, ,knowledge of BMS algorithms,Experience with design and simulation tools for BMS development

Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
