Job Description
- Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related field
- Additional certifications in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) or relevant industry-specific safety programs are preferred
- key responsibilities will include:
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining occupational safety programs and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Conducting regular safety inspections and risk assessments of airport facilities, equipment, and operations to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to establish and promote a safety-conscious work environment, providing guidance and support to employees at all levels
- Investigating and analyzing safety incidents and near-misses, identifying root causes, and developing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
- Leading safety training and awareness programs for employees, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture
- Participating in the development and review of emergency response plans and procedures, ensuring preparedness for any potential safety-related incidents
- Staying abreast of industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies to recommend and implement innovative safety solutions
- Providing regular reports and updates on safety performance metrics and key initiatives to management and regulatory authorities
- Driving continuous improvement efforts to enhance safety standards, mitigate risks, and optimize operational processes across the airport
