Assistant Manager - E&I

Purpose/Objective

Assistant manager will be responsible for ensuring timely completion of all breakdown and preventive electrical maintenance activities, monitoring and controlling power utilization, and ensuring compliance with safety and statutory standards.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Roles and Responsibilities - Ensure timely completion of all breakdown and preventive electrical maintenance activities. - Ensure timely completion of all breakdown and preventive electrical maintenance activities for DG Sets. - Monitor and control power utilization, identify power wastage, and communicate with the distribution company regarding daily/monthly electricity demand requirements. - Process timely electricity payments to electricity boards to avoid late payment charges. - Comply with company’s electrical safety standards at the workplace. - Plan and procure spares for electrical equipment. - Inspect the equipment periodically and take corrective and preventive actions. - Manage all electrical maintenance with zero unsafe incidents by ensuring adherence to safety norms, conducting gap analysis of safety standards, monitoring work completion for PTW and SOP norms, and implementing LOTO. - Ensure weekly compliance of safety interaction, SRFA and Gensuite reporting. - Understand and implement electrical protection and relay coordination. - Ensure records of electricity/diesel consumption daily. - Ensure compliance to IMS certification without any non-conformities.

Qualifications and Experience

BE / B. Tech – Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Instrumentation 1-5 years of experience
