Job Description
- Bachelors degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
- 5 to 7 years of experience in the copper industry
- Manage and oversee the smelting operations to ensure efficient production of copper
- Implement and maintain safety standards and protocols within the smelting processes
- Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure smooth functioning of smelting equipment
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and optimization
- Supervise and mentor smelting staff to maintain a high-performing team
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams for the timely supply of raw materials and transportation of finished products
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainable practices
- Report to senior management on production targets, safety metrics, and operational updates
