The Head of Sales & Business Development will lead the organization's sales and growth strategies across all market segments, focusing on expanding client relationships, driving revenue growth, and strengthening the firm's market presence.
This senior leadership role requires an expert in sales, client acquisition, and business development with a proven track record in driving sales strategies, revenue targets, and building high-performing teams.
The candidate should have deep knowledge of financial products, strong strategic planning skills, and exceptional relationship management abilities.
The role involves spearheading initiatives to expand the client base across retail, HNI, UHNI, and institutional segments while collaborating with internal teams such as product, research, and marketing to ensure a client-centric approach.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and business development strategy aligned with company objectives.
- Lead and manage the sales team across multiple market segments, providing mentorship, performance monitoring, and goal setting.
- Drive revenue growth through new client acquisition, retention strategies, and cross-selling/up-selling of financial products.
- Build and maintain relationships with HNIs, UHNIs, family offices, corporates, and institutional investors to enhance business opportunities.
- Expand market share by identifying new sales opportunities, partnerships, and business channels.
- Collaborate with research, product, and marketing teams to develop sales-driven investment offerings tailored to client needs.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies and stay ahead in the industry.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies in all sales activities.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Achievement of revenue and client acquisition targets.
- Growth in AUM (Assets Under Management) and expansion of product penetration.
- Client satisfaction, retention, and referrals.
- Performance and productivity of the sales team.
- Market share expansion and new business opportunities identified.
