To manage the equity research analyst team and oversee the publication of research reports.

Monitor the process of analytical and brokerage recommendations, liaise with fund managers and research teams, and contribute expert-level inputs for overall strategy, initiatives, goals, and budgets in the equity's domain.

Work Experience:

- Minimum 15 years of experience, with at least 5+ years in a leadership/supervisory role in multiple office locations.

- Experience in institutional research is a must.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Investment Recommendations:

- Generate timely and accurate investment recommendations, covering stocks, sectors, and ideas that offer high returns with timely exits across all investor products and services.

Institutional Coordination:

- Coordinate with the Institutional Sales team to meet with Fund Houses regularly.

- Guide the equity research team in valuating companies, generating new ideas, meeting company management, and presenting to institutional investors.

Product Development:

- Design and develop product offerings from the Research department tailored for each client segment.

Financial Modelling:

- Develop financial models to reflect companies' overall performance and valuation for sensible investment decisions.

Client Interaction:

- Manage day-to-day client queries and closely monitor companies in the existing portfolio.

Industry Analysis:

- Analyze industry trends, regulatory environments, and identify opportunities and companies in various sectors.

Trading and Investment Ideas:

- Formulate theme-based trading and investment ideas, such as event-based, open offer, de-merger, value unlocking, dividend stripping, and spread trading.

Strategic Planning:

- Develop short and long-term business strategies and plans to achieve overall business objectives.

Problem Solving:

- Understand business problems and opportunities, recommending solutions that enable organizational goal achievement.

Client Engagement:

- Handle client interaction, conference calls, corporate meetings, industry visits, site visits, network building, client-corporate meetings, and road-shows.

Investment Opportunities:

- Identify investment opportunities in the Indian equity markets and publish research reports on individual equities and broader markets.

Department Management:

- Develop and oversee budgets, policies, and procedures for the Research Department.

- Supervise the research team, set departmental and individual goals, evaluate progress, and promote professional growth.
