Purchase Engineer

JOB POSITION PURCHASE ENGINEER

LOCATION He will be based in HO at Navi Mumbai but need to travel to various sites as and when required.

EDUCATION B-TECH/B.E-MECH/DME

EXPERIENCE 3-5 YRS

NOTE Oil & Gas Industry experience is mandatory

Applications are requested from interested Engineers and Supervisors preferably with

Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering for the role of Purchase

Engineer/officer at HO (CBD-Belapur, Navi Mumbai)

The primary job Role will be as follows but not limited to:

The brief job description is as follows

1)To prepare scope with technical specification based on the tender.

2) To review quotes/offers from sub-contractor/suppliers and prepare tech/commercial comparisons

3)To negotiate and finalize PO

4)To ensure timely supply and mobilization at sites

5)To co ordinate with stores and site to ensure availability of resources/equipment

required for execution.

6)To co ordinate with site/stores and Accounts to ensure timely payment to suppliers and

sub-contractors.

7)To improve vendor base to improve quality/cost and arrange periodical meeting with them.

8)To participate in system improvement for efficient operations.

9)To monitor and track purchase activities through MIS.

Additonal Info:

He will be reporting to Purchase manager and ensure support to all operating sites including TA and

shutdowns towards availability of materials/equipment/manpower.
