Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior FEA Engineer with 10+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry to perform advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for critical equipment. The role involves conducting structural, modal, and stress analysis to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform FEA simulations on oil & gas components such as storage tanks, silos, nozzles, heat exchangers, compressor base frames, and valves (butterfly, check, ball, swing valves, etc.).
• Conduct nozzle load analysis on flat heads, body flange loading analysis, and weld strength analysis.
• Perform various engineering calculations including wind, seismic, lifting lug, and transportation loads using EN standards.
• Carry out different FEA types, including static, structural, modal, seismic, transportation, and lifting analysis in ANSYS Workbench.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes and standards (ASME, API, EN, DNV).
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and project teams to improve component reliability and performance.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and presentations on FEA findings.
• Optimize designs by identifying potential failure points and suggesting design improvements.

Key Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in FEA analysis within the oil & gas industry.
• Strong proficiency in ANSYS Workbench for FEA simulations.
• Deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles and material behavior under load conditions.
• Experience in handling structural, modal, and thermal analysis of industrial equipment.
• Familiarity with engineering standards (EN, ASME, API, DNV, etc.).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical results effectively.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in design optimization and failure analysis.
• Knowledge of CAD software for model preparation.
• Exposure to pressure vessel and piping analysis.
