Job Description of Site Engineer

Planning & scheduling project activities and manage appropriate manpower. Project Execution at site locations with optimum utilization of manpower and Equipments. Preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring the assigned engineering projects. Interacting daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and representing them in the field Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status. Assign responsibilities and mentor project team. Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project. participants to provide assistance and technical support. Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions. Cooperating and communicating with the Project Manager and other project participants and collaborating with Senior Engineers to create more efficient project methods and to maintain the project’s profitability. Review the work progress on daily basis. Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status. Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.

Instrumentation knowledge related – Radar Gauge, Flow meter, TAS projects – OIL, Gas & Alcohol sector. Overall safety knowledge Customer handling

Qualification:

Diploma/ B.E. (Instrumentation, Electronics), other relevant experience

Experience: 1-3 Years

Location: Chennai

Travel requirement: Frequent travel to different sites located in India.
