Role Title : Subcontract Manager, responsible for Subcontract functions of the Project

Location : Various projects and Head office

Experience : 7-15+ Years

Qualifications : B.E./ B. Tech. Electrical/ Mechanical, Preferably PG - Construction Management/ Contracts Management

Major responsibilities :

• To understand the concept of various Contracts, Planning and Commercial operations including variation, Claim, EOT and executing the scope of works as per the Contract.

• Lead the Subcon Function including Main Contract and Subcontract Management.

• Responsible for drafting RFQs, floating enquiry, Negotiation, Finalization, award and administering the Sub contracts.

• Responsible for Vendor management and development.

• Responsible for periodic reviews and report on the Commercial and Subcontract Management. • Responsible for Project Site & Cross function interaction, coordination, team management.

Experience:

• Expertise in understanding of the project Commercials, Main Contracts and Subcontracts.

• Experience in Commercial and Subcontract management functions in Marine Projects

• Knowledge of all statutes in Construction industry including Marine Projects

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to deliver to set deadlines

• Strong interpersonal, report writing and statistical analysis skills with the ability to communicate at all levels

• Proven ability in multitasking and prioritising workload.

• Proven ability in judgement/ decision making on a variety of issues within tight deadlines.

• Team management skills, presentation skills, ability to work in team with Senior Project Managers.

• Proficient in MS Office applications, SAP, VDMS Soft-wares

• Commercial negotiations.

• Vendor management, Customer / Vendor relationship management

• Commercial acumen and understanding of Contract/ Sub-contracts.

• Capable of managing a number of complex tasks simultaneously.
