General Requirements:
• Technical Knowledge of Electrical Design with good problem solving skills and well aware of departmental activities to comply ISO Process.
• Domain Experience: Applicant should be an Electrical Designer from reputed Transformer company.
• Work Experience: Relevant Experience in handling Distribution, Power and Special Application Transformers upto 16MVA, 33kV Voltage Class as per IS, IEC Standards and aware of International Standard like ANSI.
• Software Skills: AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, ERP
• Job Location: Chennai, Tamil Naidu
General Roles & Responsibilities:
Responsibilities: The primary responsibility is to design & develop the electrical design of power, distribution and special application (Earthing, Solar, Wind, Customized) transformer products. Enquiry / Tendering stage:
• Reviewing technical specification to comply the customer requirement.
• To prepare tender design & electrical calculations along with check list to ensure the correctness of technical documents. Order stage:
• To prepare electrical drawings and technical documents as per customer approval.
• To find the solution for complications / problems while designing the product and change accordingly.
• Discussion on solving complex problems with production, purchase and quality department.
Follow up & Review:
• Follow up & review sales / marketing team for the required technical data from customer.
• Follow up & review purchase team for the required drawings / technical data from supplier.
• Follow up & review production / assembly / testing team for the new engineering change management implementations.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Training Team Members to improve their Knowledge & Output Quality
• Brainstorming for better improved design
• New Product Development based on the Customer Requirement
