About The Role :
We are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team in Victor, United States. As the second-in-command in our kitchen, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of food quality, kitchen efficiency, and team collaboration.
Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and staff management
Prepare meals from standardized recipes, ensuring timely and attractive presentation
Coordinate food preparation and set up service lines and workstations
Assist in menu planning, food ordering, and inventory management
Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health codes
Participate in pre-meal meetings with food servers to review daily menu details
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organize stock rooms, coolers, and freezers
Implement food waste reduction techniques and proper food storage practices
Contribute to menu innovation and cost control initiatives
