Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Aerospace Design and Manufacturing Engineering team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in aerospace engineering, hands-on experience with digital transformation initiatives, and a proven track record of working with major OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) in business development and presales. This role is crucial for driving innovation, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring successful business transformation. You will leverage your deep industry knowledge and analytical skills to address complex challenges and deliver innovative solutions. Providing expertise (functional, technical, industry, tools/methods) to ensure successful solution design and delivery. Your typical day will involve collaborating with the client project teams, sales teams and other internal teams in organization and offering guidance and support in various areas such as functional and technical aspects, industry knowledge, and tools/methods. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of solution design and delivery for our clients.
Roles & Responsibilities:-Aerospace and defense SME with Core engineering experience to provide strategic insights and recommendations to clients regarding aerospace design and manufacturing Engineering solutions.-Facilitate workshops and discussions to assess client needs and develop actionable plans. Lead and mentor a team of engineers and designers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.-Support development of go-to-market approach / assets.-Maintain global repository of sales assets (e.g., proposals, stage 0 decks credentials, etc.).-Conduct reviews (loss / delivery) with client teams to understand how we can improve sales and harvest deliverables.-Spearhead digital transformation initiatives with an engineering mindset, including the adoption of advanced technologies (e.g., CAD/CAM, simulation software, PLM systems).-Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate digital tools that enhance design and manufacturing processes.-Collaborate and manage with multiple teams to perform and contribute on key decisions-Participate in presales activities, including technical presentations, proposal development, and solution demonstrations to prospective clients -Define proposal response requirements and best sales messaging approach.-Bring the latest knowledge and best of content to each opportunity (e.g., industry trends benchmarking, competitive insights, etc.).-Help shape the overall solution (approach, team, pricing, differentiators, etc.) to best fit the deal requirements.-Prepare and help lead orals with innovating ways of selling to help differentiate Accenture-Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and report on team performance and project success.-Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams-Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices & trainings.-Stay updated with industry trends and advancements-Lead and mentor various teams of engineers and designers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Professional & Technical Skills:-Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in Aerospace & Defense (A&D) Experience with Product Lifecycle -Management (PLM), Digital Transformation.-Engage with major OEMs to identify business opportunities and develop strategic partnerships. -Understand customer needs and provide tailored engineering solutions that align with their objectives.-Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes, identifying inefficiencies and bottlenecks.-Gather and analyze data from diverse sources to identify trends and patterns.-Develop comprehensive business requirements and functional specifications.-Create data-driven reports and presentations to communicate insights effectively.-Visualize data effectively to communicate complex information.-Strong understanding of industry-specific concepts and practices-Knowledge of tools and methods used in the Aerospace & Defense industry-Experience of implementing IT tools and working with clients.-Ability to analyze complex problems and provide effective solutions-Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce costs.-Develop and implement process improvement initiatives.-Measure the impact of process changes and adjust as needed.
