Job Summary

As a

Product Owner - Data Projects Manager, you will play a critical role in managing and driving data product initiatives while ensuring seamless collaboration between

ADGO (Accenture Data Governance Organization) and

CIO/Asset Engineering teams. You will define and refine product backlogs, coordinate technical roadmaps, facilitate data access, and resolve integration hurdles. The role demands a unique combination of

product ownership, program management, stakeholder engagement, and technical expertise, ensuring that data infrastructure and products are built for scalability, reusability, and business impact.

Roles & Responsibilities

Product Backlog & Technical Roadmap Ownership

Define, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog for data initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment.

Work closely with CIO/Asset Engineering teams to align technical roadmaps with business priorities.

Ensure backlog items emphasize reusability, scalability, and long-term value across multiple ADGO towers.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

Serve as the central contact for ADGO, coordinating with CIO/Asset Engineering teams on infrastructure and data initiatives.

Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity in requirements and deliverables.

Provide regular updates to leadership on project milestones, risks, and dependencies.

Facilitate workshops, demos, and training sessions to drive user adoption and understanding of delivered solutions.

Infrastructure & Data Access Management

Work with IT teams to provision and maintain on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure needed for data ingestion, processing, and analytics.

Secure timely access to internal data sources, resolving policy and compliance concerns proactively.

Address integration and data accessibility challenges to maintain seamless operations.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution

Lead cross-functional teams"including developers, data architects, and business stakeholders"to deliver high-impact data products.

Collaborate with data governance, usage rights, and monetization teams to integrate compliance and business requirements into product roadmaps.

Manage project escalations, dependencies, and alignment with enterprise-wide initiatives.

Continuous Improvement & Performance Monitoring

Track product and project performance against key metrics, gathering feedback from users and stakeholders.

Implement changes based on data-driven insights, ensuring alignment with evolving business needs.

Identify process bottlenecks and champion agile best practices for continuous improvement.

Professional & Technical Skills

Product & Data Product Management

Strong understanding of data product development life cycle, including conceptualization, design, testing, and launch.

Ability to integrate data governance, usage rights, and monetization aspects into product roadmaps.

Skilled at translating technical requirements into clear, actionable product strategies.

Cloud & Data Architecture Knowledge

Solid understanding of on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure, including networking, storage, and security considerations.

Familiarity with data operations, pipelines, and governance frameworks within enterprise environments.

Stakeholder & Relationship Management

Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, capable of managing complex, multi-layered stakeholder engagements.

Ability to communicate technical capabilities in business-focused value propositions for senior leadership.

Strategic Thinking & Project Execution

Experience managing cross-functional roadmaps, balancing competing priorities to ensure timely, high-quality project deliveries.

Proven track record in resolving integration and accessibility challenges while maintaining business alignment.

Exposure to enterprise architecture principles to coordinate infrastructure and data activities holistically.

Preferred Project Management & Agile Experience

Experience in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies to plan, execute, and track deliverables effectively.

Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments where requirements may shift frequently.
