Summary:As a Software Development Lead, you will develop and configure software systems either end-to-end or for a specific stage of the product lifecycle. Apply knowledge of technologies, applications, methodologies, processes, and tools to support a client, project, or entity. Be involved in key decision-making processes and collaborate with multiple teams. We are looking for Ignition developer extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying industrial automation solutions using Ignition by Inductive Automation.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Design, develop, deploy and maintain Ignition Applications

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Familiarity with databases and SQL queries.

Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices.

Ability to support, maintain, and enhance deployed software solutions.
Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills:Ignition SCADA, PL/SQL, Python, Java

Any MES, PLC/SCADA

Develop and Maintain Ignition Applications:

Hands on experience with Ignition Platform for developing MES dashboards using Vision and Perspective Module

Design and implement HMI/SCADA applications using Ignition.

Develop custom Ignition modules and scripts.

Create and maintain Ignition projects, including the design of windows, reports, and dashboards.

Integrate Ignition with various industrial control systems (PLCs, DCS etc.).

Connect Ignition to databases and other data sources.

Configure and manage OPC servers and other communication protocols.

Hot fix, upgrade, installation, administration of ignition application

Have worked upon end to end implementation – right from requirement analysis, mapping these to technical design, development, testing and deployment

Should have developed interfaces between ignition and ERP (ERP Integration) and shop floor systems

Should be ignition gold certified
Additional Information:

The candidate should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering MES.

Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communications or equivalent courses.

This position is based at our Pune office.
