Summary:As a Software Development Lead, you will be responsible for developing and configuring software systems either end-to-end or for a specific stage of the product lifecycle. You will apply your knowledge of technologies, applications, methodologies, processes, and tools to support a client, project, or entity. Your typical day will involve leading a team of software developers, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, designing and implementing software solutions, and ensuring the quality and timely delivery of projects.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience.

Should have influencing and advisory skills.

Responsible for team decisions.

Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.

Lead a team of software developers and provide guidance and support.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.

Design and implement software solutions based on business needs.

Ensure the quality and timely delivery of software projects.

Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members.

Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Mentor and coach junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in IBM z/OS.

Strong understanding of software development methodologies and processes.

Experience in developing and configuring software systems.

Knowledge of programming languages such as COBOL, PL/I, and Assembler.

Familiarity with mainframe technologies and tools.

Good To Have Skills:Experience with Agile software development methodologies.

Experience in leading software development projects.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Additional Information:

The candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in IBM z/OS.

This position is based at our Jaipur office.

A 15 years full-time education is required.
